"ServiceDesk 7.0" for Symantec

Purpose: To introduce the features in the first release of the ServiceDesk software, which replaced an earlier Altiris product.
Audience: Help desk workers who serve internal or external customers. For example, users include help desk technicians, support managers, and release managers.
My role: Researcher, writer, editor.
Tools used: The HTML editor that was built in to the Altiris knowledge base. Due to some limitations of the HTML editor, I edited most of this document in raw HTML mode.
Corporate style: This document follows the format, structure, and style guidelines that were developed by the Altiris technical publications team. These standards differ from the Symantec standards for release notes.
Distribution: This document is posted on the Altiris knowledge base in HTML format.
